A rinse-off clay mask using kaolin and bentonite to absorb surface oil, with a low level of lactic and salicylic acid to lift dull surface cells while it sits. Used once or twice a week it leaves skin looking clearer and feeling smoother, and it is aimed at oily and combination skin or congested areas rather than the whole face on dry skin.
Left on too long, clay keeps drawing once the skin's surface oil is gone and can leave skin tight and dehydrated. Ten minutes is enough; longer is not better. Follow with a moisturizer to rebalance.

How to use
- Evening, once or twice a week. Spread an even layer over clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area.
- Leave for up to 10 minutes — do not let it crack and over-dry — then rinse with lukewarm water.
- Follow with a hydrating serum and moisturizer.
Cautions
- Do not use on broken or sunburned skin; always wear SPF the next day.
- Do not leave on longer than 10 minutes, and do not use on the same night as other strong acids or retinaldehyde.
- Patch-test before first use; likely too drying for very dry skin used all over.
