A morning antioxidant serum with L-ascorbic acid at a stated 15%, supported by vitamin E and ferulic acid, which are included because they help stabilise ascorbic acid and support its antioxidant activity. Used daily under sunscreen it supports a brighter, more even-looking tone and helps defend the skin against the free radicals generated by daylight.
L-ascorbic acid is an acid, and at 15% it can tingle on application, especially at first. It also oxidises over time: expect the serum to deepen from near-colourless to pale amber over the life of the bottle. A light straw colour is normal; discard it once it turns dark orange or brown, as its antioxidant activity falls as it oxidises.

How to use
- Morning only. After cleansing, apply 3–4 drops to dry skin before moisturizer.
- Always follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen as your last morning step.
- Store away from heat and light and keep the cap closed; oxidation is faster once opened.
Cautions
- Patch-test before first use; expect a brief tingle, but stop if you get lasting stinging or redness.
- Introduce slowly if you also use acids or retinaldehyde — layering multiple actives at once can irritate. Vitamin C in the morning, retinaldehyde at night is the simplest split.
- Discard once the serum turns dark orange or brown.
